Severe Acne Treatment and Regimen

ROSACEA
Photo
Rosacea is an adult onset chronic skin disease characterized by redness, flushing, acne and /or telangectasias. Rosacea most commonly affects the central third of the face and forehead. Without proper treatment Rosacea will worsen overtime. Treatment for Rosacea includes customized skincare, laser therapy, chemical peels and knowledge on how to avoid common Rosacea triggers.

ACNE
Photo
Acne is a common skin disease of the sebaceous follicle. Acne is triggered by several different factors and these factors can vary greatly from person to person. Some common triggers are p. acme bacteria, topical agents that over dry the skin, comeogenic makeup, hormone fluctuations that increase sebum production and product ingredients that aggravate skin. Discovering and reducing a person's acne triggers allow us to greatly reduce the frequency and severity of a breakout. Acne can be treated with laser therapy, chemical peels and daily skincare products that increase cell turnover, hydrate skin, kill p. acme bacteria and control inflammation. Vibrant Skin Tempe will design a personalized daily skincare regimen to allow you to achieve optimal results.

MELASMA / HYPERPIGMENTATION
Photo
Skin pigmentation is the result of the deposition of melanin. Melanin is produced when inflammation causes tyrosinase to bind with copper in a reaction known as melanogenesis. The inflammatory trigger can be UV light, Hormones, or surface irritation. Melasma is a hormonally induced hyperpigmentation that usually covers the forehead, cheeks and/or upper lip. The area of hyperpigmentation is usually large in size with uneven borders. Melasma can result from hormonal changes experienced in pregnancy, menopause, hormone replacement therapy and/or oral contraceptive pills. Melasma can be treated with the use of photo facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and daily skincare products that inhibit melanogenisis, increase cell turnover and protect from UV rays.
